Peregrine to partner with Ohio for statewide data analytics solution
COLUMBUS, OHIO (April 25, 2025) – Peregrine Technologies has been selected to partner with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office to provide next-generation data analytics to local law enforcement.
Building on the strong foundation of the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway (OHLEG), a nationally recognized platform that enables law enforcement agencies to securely share criminal justice data, this new initiative will enhance OHLEG’s capabilities. By integrating Peregrine’s analytics solutions, OHLEG will provide law enforcement with deeper investigative insights.
Peregrine’s AWS GovCloud-based solution, with built-in security and auditability, will integrate with and enhance OHLEG's capabilities, delivering advanced analytics and deeper insights to drive greater transparency, operational efficiency, and community impact.
“This is about giving law enforcement the best tools to stay ahead of crime,” Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said. “We’re taking OHLEG to the next level — helping officers connect the dots faster and keep Ohioans safer.”
Peregrine, a leader in public safety solutions, designed its data analytics and integration platform to address the complexities of information management for agencies of all sizes, from small rural departments to large statewide entities. Peregrine’s technology features complex regulatory models for data security, as well as built-in governance systems and auditing capabilities that allow authorized agency administrators to review and analyze all user activity to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
“Our mission has always been to empower communities and agencies to drive better public safety outcomes,” said Nick Noone, CEO and co-founder of Peregrine. “Peregrine integrates siloed systems and analyzes mission-critical data to provide law enforcement with the insights they need to uncover the truth faster, conduct thorough investigations, and prevent future crimes. This partnership underscores Attorney General Yost’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge tools that strengthen safety and collaboration across Ohio.”
